We spent our last couple days in Sydney, and to mark our last full day in Australia we decided to do the coastal walk from The Spit to Manly. It was on Liam's recommendation, who had already done the walk earlier last year, so we caught the bus to The Spit and returned back to the CBD via the Manly ferry. The walk is approximately 10km, and took a couple hours which included plenty of photo stops and even a quick swim. It was a perfect Sunday, with blue skies above us, crystal clear water, and the views of the coast leading all the way to Manly were incredible. Along the way there are plenty of beaches which made for a great spot for a swim which was much needed on such a hot day. The walk can also be extended by doing the North Head loop, but we decided against it, wanting to head back to the CBD for lunch. I'd also recommend you spend a bit of time in Manly before catching a ferry back if you get the chance. Overall, it was the perfect way to end the last 3 months in Australia in our favourite city.
