The Beginning

My year began on a rooftop looking over my favourite city in India, Jaipur. From this point on I knew I would spend the next couple years travelling. India had filled me with a desire to see more of the world.

Fresh out of high school, I decided University life wasn't for me. At least not yet. I have no strong passions towards anything academic related, and what I do enjoy won't get me anywhere career wise. So I decided to take a gap year, or two, or three. To be honest I have no real intentions of going to Uni any time soon, and the support from my friends and family has told me that this is okay. I have spent the beginning of this year working full-time at Four Square. I even got a second job at Sal's pizza so I have been working 7 days a week.

But all this work hasn't been for nothing, I have an itch to go travelling. I have set my date for the 13th of August where I will travel to London, stopping over in San Francisco for 5 days. Whilst I am in London I will be working as an Au Pair for family friends, and then go on to work in a pub set up by the London Pub Company. I hope to travel around the rest of Europe from London.
