We chose a particularly misty and rainy day to explore the Dorrigo National Park as you can see from the photos, but I think it added to the experience of a exploring a RAINforest. The cool drizzle of rain covered the forest in a blanket of mist creating a very airy and mysterious atmosphere.
The looped walk took us to two waterfalls: the Cascades and, my favourite, the Crystal Shower Falls which you could walk behind to take some awesome photos. The total walk took us maybe 2 hours with a lunch break in between and plenty of photo stops. The National Park is huge with so much more to explore that I hope we get the chance to see before we leave Coffs Harbour.
