Sealy's Lookout
I have been slack with blogging and even taking photos, but I thought I would try update you as much as possible now that I am no longer on the move. It's been nearly two months since I flew into Coolangatta airport and joined my boyfriend Liam and his friend Kyle on their travels up Australia's East Coast. Since then we have made our way as far North as Bundaberg before heading back down the Coast into NSW. As we drove further North, the worse Queensland's hot tropical weather got. After spending evenings sheltering in a car from huge thunder and lightning storms we realised the rainy season was well and truly kicking in and we'd be better off heading South. Our resources were also getting low and we realised we'd need to start working soon. Liam and I decided to stay in Coffs Harbour, since there was a hostel that has contact with local farmers and we wanted to give the regional work a try. We are now out in the bush helping pick and clean garlic in exchange for food, accomodation and the promise of a paid position on a berry farm when the summer fruit comes in. Since being here we have visited the local waterfall, had BBQ's, pizza parties, and I am currently learning how to surf on the local beaches. Life is pretty sweet.
