HUNUA FALLS

A few weeks ago I made a trip out to Hunua Falls, so I thought I would share a few of the photos I took. My favourite has to be the second one because I love the adorable father and daughter in the left hand corner (I hope they don't mind I took a photo of them!). Since getting my new Nikon camera, Jenna and I have made a couple photography expeditions.  Having a companion to take photos with is great, and since she was also wielding a camera I knew I wasn't annoying her too much with my slow pace and casual strolling. Please note that I am not claiming to be a skilled photographer in any way, it has just become a new little hobby of mine. Whilst travelling around Europe I loved taking photos, but I was limited to the use of an iPhone camera, which was practical in its size and function. However, the image quality is so much better with a professional digital camera and I love seeing how my photos come out. The added bonus is that I barely have to do anything, the camera pretty much does all the work (got to love the auto function).  These little photography trips will hopefully be an ongoing thing so  please do let me know if you want to see more. Also, if you haven't already, check out Jenna's blog here.
