I'm sure many of you know that I am now currently in Newquay, Cornwall. If you didn't know, then keep up to date by following me on instagram here. I decided after six months in Leicester, it was time for a change. I managed to transfer within the Walkabout chain so I work at the same bar, just a different location. And I must say it is a great location. Newquay is a small town about 5 hours from London. Things are different down here, there aren't all the same commercial shops lining the streets like in the big cities. The people seem generally happier and friendlier. And as a plus, I have a beach just at the end of the street. It's fairly quiet now, but in the next month things will pick up and it will soon become one of the craziest tourist spots. Surfers will swarm the sea and every man and his dog will be at the beach. Good thing there's about 11 in Newquay! Now to maybe look into 'How to Surf'...
