I arrived in London on Sunday and so thought I'd post what I've been doing for the last few days. For those who don't know I'm an au pair for the first two weeks that I'm here before starting my pub job at the Walkabout in Leicester. I'm staying in Ealing at the moment, a half hour tube ride from central London. The first few days here have been great. I have been busy adjusting, getting over my jetlag and being introduced into the English lifestyle. I went to the Changing of the Guards on Tuesday which was chaotic, there are a lot of tourists around since it's summer in London, so getting a glimpse of anything was a mission. I enjoyed walking around the parks nearby though, weather has been absolutely brilliant. I love this city so far and am hoping to see a lot more in the next week. So keep an eye out!
